Saturday, December 31, in St. Croix Falls, WI: Dance with Duck for the Oyster at the Chateau St. Croix annual Renaissance Costume New Year’s Ball at the Chateau St. Croix Winery. Whether you’re dressing Renaissance or just plain elegant, a variety of fine wines and some very delicious hors d’oeuvres will be served with dancing in an elegant, French Chateau style hall. All dances are taught beforehand, no experience is necessary. This has become an annual tradition for the Ducks. Help us ring another exciting New Year! Saturday, February 11, in Eau Claire, WI: Dance with Duck for the Oyster at the Winter Sustainability Festival, a fund raiser for the folks in Okora, Uganda, sponsored by the First Congregational UCC.  The Festival site is at the North Star Junior High, 2711 Abbe Hill Drive, Eau Claire. There will be plenty of food and entertainment all day, including the  dinner and dance feature (that’s us!) at 5:00. All dances are taught beforehand, no experience is necessary, all ages are welcome and, like most Duck for the Oyster events, it is smoke and alcohol free. Dinner and dance is $15/per person.
