Saturday, August 21, in St. Croix Falls , WI : Dance with Duck for the Oyster at the Energy Fair: two full days of local foods, renewable energy, and global wisdom!  The fair will feature numerous vendors of renewable energy products, back to back informational workshops in two buildings all day long, local residents demonstrating innovative do it yourself projects, and a fun-filled children's tent, on the Polk County Fair Grounds . The Saturday night dance with the ducks features the usual variety of dances, taught beforehand. No experience is necessary, all ages are welcome. The dancing starts at 7:00 pm . Saturday, August 28, in Sarona, WI : Dance with Duck for the Oyster at the Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary . Join us in this beautiful, historic cedar barn. All dances are taught beforehand, no experience is necessary, all ages are welcome and, like most Duck for the Oyster events, it is smoke and alcohol free. The dancing starts at 7:30 pm. Friday, October 15, in Shell Lake, WI: Kevin's group, Take 3, (with Tom Draughon and Lisa McGinley) will be playing at the Erika Quam Theater, 605 First St . The Quam is a great theater to enjoy the luscious vocal harmonies and entrancing instrumental arrangements that Take 3 is known for. No costume is necessary, but there will be prizes for costumes and a trick or treat promenade where trick or treaters can exchange treats. Friday, December 31, in St. Croix Falls , WI : Dance with Duck for the Oyster at the Chateau St. Croix annual Renaissance Costume New Year's Ball at the Chateau St. Croix Winery. A variety of fine wines and some very delicious hors d'oeuvres will be served with dancing in an elegant, French Chateau style hall. All dances are taught beforehand, no experience is necessary. Saturday, February 5, in Rhinelander, WI: Duck for the Oyster is back at the WHITE PINE JAMBOREE, held this year at the Taj Northwoods Banquet Center, immediately after the fiddle contest.
